I just watched this explanatory video, and found it interesting. Curious to hear back from Autumn or others from DJI...

Although, with an iPad 3, the steps wouldn't be of any use to me, as the iPad 3 wouldn't fit on the Tx device holder.

But for some forum members, who may not have the accessible capital funds to buy a new digital device, this may be of benefit to you, in the mean while.

Good luck with that. I did that to install on iPad 2 and the app could not make a connection to the P3. Not to mention that when a update of the app comes out, you have to do that all over again. I still have it installed on an iPad 2 to keep the flight logs and manuals. I would not risk flying it with a device not supported.

I couldn't use it anyway, with my large iPad 3, but those with an iPhone may have better successes.

I only wanted to share the vid, as for some, buying the Phantom 3 already created tap city...

Then there are extra batteries, rotor blades, an awesome case.,.,.

This incredibly exciting hobby can get rather expensive, in a very short order.
