So kind of you to say so, i´m in the process of learning Davinci Resolve now which I find very impressive so far.

I just need to learn how to fly better and planing the videos.Are you grounded? Haven´t seen anything from you recently

I am with you on the learning   Davinci. Have you ever thought of adding Sapphire Plug-in.
It has a lot of extra effects that can add to a video.

Right now I have been using Cyberlink Power direct 16. It is a bit more user friendly and I like a lot of the effects that come with it or can be downloaded for free off the net.

Been doing some flying but haven't posted any videos yet. This week we are going to a place called "Bloody Basin".  Named for a massacre that happened in the 1800 against the Yavapai  Indians who lived in this area.

Thanks for that tip, If I understand it correct you need to have Davinci Resolve Studio? Can you confirm or deny on that one pls?

Then I suppose I have to wait for some of the results from the "Bloody Basin".

I read that you could have it as a trial for some days, so that is a good way of starting.

Have you "upgraded" to 15.1 or?

I did that but have not really seen any differences so far.

I am a simple person and hardly use what I have now so I will stick with the old version.

Yes i´m the same but for stabillity reasons I upgraded, not for the features.

I think Davinci is quite good, have a steap learning curve, some things could be done easier (comparing with Adobe PP) but for this "price" it´s hard to NOT chose it.

I downloaded DR 15.2 some days ago and upgraded the version I have.
It provided a lot of nice features that really makes it worth while.

If you have the time I recommend that you try it.

Thanks for the information.
I read where there was a Bug with the DR 15.2.
Taken from their forum:
There seems to be a bug on DR v15.2 when performing a Copy and Paste clips on the Timeline while having the Inspector active, once you deactivate the Inspector then you can Paste the clips on the Timeline.

Solution from another user:
if you have been adjusting anything in the inspector before hitting paste, then it wont work as its the inspector that is in focus, not the timeline. clicking back on the timeline brings it back into focus and paste should work. At least that's what's happening on my windows10 system

I had some other strange things going on and that is that I had to reconnect to the proxys, don't know if it was like that before or not.

based on some time trying some stuff, I think it's more reliable somehow, can't put my finger on it though.  Rendering feels a little bit faster. Tried some 4K with best  quality and that created LARGE files 7-9 Gigs, and I don't think that quality is needed for YT.

I still have a problem with dynamic zoom (You find it in the "inspector") that feature is something that I like and want it to work,

Moving slowly to learn the "Fusion" thing so I can automate some of the work and Fusion seems like a good investment to learn.

I don't know if this is new or not but I really like the "shared node" concept here.
For instance if you make some "general" adjustments in a node that you would like to reuse then you save it as a shared node and then you can reuse that grading you have done for the parts you would like to have the same, this is best if you have a separate clips of course.

Totally worth upgrading according to me.
