How many users use the prop guards? What are the pros and cons?
Thanks

Hi, thanks for your inquiry. Having the props guards on your aircraft will protect the drone and propellers in any kind of collision, however, I'm afraid that it will detect the aircraft as a consistent obstacle as it's close to the obstacle sensing system of the aircraft. Thank you for the support.

If you are flying indoor you should use it, and may also fly in tripod mode

Have used both DJI Prop Guards and Prop Cages (with special props).

No real issues with Prop Guards, slightly slower speed.  Main thing is putting Prop Guards on and taking them back off when packing DJI Mavic Pro up for transport.

As for Prop Cages, definitely impacts Mavic Pro's performance.  Mavic has to struggle to lift weight of Cages with required special props.  Struggle in part due to restrictions of airflow caused by Cages, and what seems to be less efficient props.  Noisier too!

I use the prop guards when I fly over water as I have a GetterBack strapped to each side of the guards In the middle outer edge, not noticed any adverse affects on stability or other problems

I use the prop guards all the time and never have an issue with them being detected  as an obstacle.

Only use them on my first flight, nobody wants to crash on their first flight, you need to get over the first fence to be in the race.

I only used them once and that was when I made my first maiden flight.
Was afraid of over controlling and hitting something. After that I found the MP so stable and easy to fly that I no longer use them.
