Regardless if you use a DJI Drone or DSLR camera getting the exposure right is important. It all starts with understanding Exposure Triangle and how ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed work together. This video will help you get the perfect exposure every time

As always, your video is very informative.  Might take a few viewings to put all the math together, but you lay it out very well.

This is THE BEST way that the inter-dependence of the 3 basic light controlling factors upon which excellent photography is based has ever been explained. Bravo to Henrik.

Thanks for sharing, I think a lot of people get stuck on trying to adjust things and when it comes to video end up with like 1/600 as a shutter speed to get the right lighting and end up with unnatural looking video.

I have this pretty much memorized but I share this image a lot and recommend people store it on their phones so they don't have to google around to find what each tweak to the triangle can do.

This isn't mine but its freely distributable..

Very nice video however he needs to add how to use the AE lock when filming in auto. AE is something that's very useful, as you can lock in exposure while in auto and keep your footage looking even.

This could have been expanded in multiple directions I agree.
But I never film in Auto, as I want full control of my exposure

I'm finding auto in with a set aperture to get me really nice picture quality on the M2P. I set my WB manually to 5500K on sunny days to get rid of that orange wash that the camera gives when put on sunny or cloudy. Then I use my AE lock when i have an area that has good exposure and leave it there. I used to shoot with Manual settings, but it became a hassle playing with the frame rate, exposure, ISO etc every time I had a new background to shoot. I spent more time playing with the camera settings than being creative. That's just me I guess others have other methods for filming.

It's always good to hear from others how they/you do it. Thanks for sharing.
