Has any one found a way to power the ronin S without using the bulky battery grip?

I'd love for it to be more compact for rigging in small spaces.

The batery grip is almost always in my way.

I'm doing a job this week that this would be amazing for.

Hi joepicard, the gimbal can only be powered on with the grip attached, there is no related accessories support this feature currently, there are three operation modes for Ronin-S for different shooting scenes: Upright mode, Underslung mode and Flashlight mode, please try the Flashlight mode in small spaces.

I was wondering if any one has done a successful modification or found a third party product to provide power via a cable.
Flashlight mode definitely won't work for this.
That grip is really limithing the potential of this otherwise powerful little gimbal.
When is the RC car mount thing coming?
