After I attach my go pro camera do I need to make any adjustments to the copter for balancing it? I'm just going to take some timed photos to start with since I don't have a gimble yet. What connector do I need to hook up with the Phantom 2, not vision?

When you get the gimbal, it will come with the necessary cables as well as an anti-interference board. You should have a cable that comes out of the Phantom which will connect to the anti-interference board. On the other side of the board is a connector which connects via cable to the gimbal. On the gimbal itself, there is a mini-usb which connects to the side of the GoPro. Balancing is not necessary, although I have heard of people doing it. I have not had a problem.

How do you check the balance and correct? I don't have a gimbal yet I was just going to use an adapter and attach the camera for time lapse still shots.
