Hi Christyan, sorry for the troubles on balancing the device, this lens is in the compatible list and Nikon D850 should be able to be balanced, may I know which axis cannot be balanced? Did you check the tutorial video below to try again?

Currently, the camera settings cannot be controlled by the Ronin-S APP, please note the future update, thank you.

The Pan axis is Yaw axis, which can be controlled 360° continuous rotation. Please check the screenshot below on how to balance Pan axis.
Please make sure the APP and the firmware have been updated to the latest version first, thanks.

I’m having the same issue D850 24 70mm lens, the body snags on the gimbal if I set it to sit upright?

Would you be able to give the base settings you have use as a guide?
