Think so too.
And I like how the composition is divided into sky, water and wood elements.
I like to close my eyelids almost fully and get a blurry image of my shot.
If I still like how it is divided, I know my composition is good enough

Composition is key to great still images. A zoom will come in handy for that

Funny you mention that.
For my DSLR I switched to 'non zoom' (prime) lenses only.
Because I want to focus on the composition more.
When I still had a zoom lens, I made a couple of shots at various focal lengths and selected the best one afterwards.
Now I have to physically put a lens on to change perspective, OR move my body to another place.
Both take effort and make me think about my shot better before pressing the shutter.

Sounds counter productive maybe, but I like the conscious way of shooting more.

Zoom is a lazy capture IMO and if it's not lossless then your shot is effectively ruined. Changing focal length through interchangeable lenses is key and far more pro.

I would prefer prime lenses.
And I must say I sometimes crop my images a bit, if there is something distracting in the edges (I could have done that with this image to get rid of the house in the lower left corner) or when the horizon is not straight.
But in general I like to get the best possible image 'in camera'

Welcome to Sweden.

Actually this is a merged HDR picture from several bracketed exposures.
The longest exposure was  1/4 sec I believe.
