The Ronin-S loves a balanced camera. If you plan to use a zoom lens that will be zoomed in and out during use, this will offset the balance of the gimbal. Most of the time, this is ok but you should turn off the Push Tilt option under SmoothTrack. This is because an extended lens that puts the camera package out of balance will appear to the Ronin-S as though force is pushing down on the lens making it seem like you're Pushing down on the Tilt axis. This will appear as though the lens is always tilting forward as though the motor doesn't have enough power.

Why did we make the Push function this sensitive? Because you'll notice with Push, you can be extremely precise when positioning the camera with your hands. This Push algorithm has been refined since the original DJI Ronin.

I'd like to know if you recommend increasing tilt stiffness when using a zoom lens.
