Just thought I’d warn anyone. Do not support Droneworld in South Africa, especially for repairs!!!

I sent my Mavic Air in with 2 broken arms and a missing lens hood...the quote they gave me was over R15 000!!!...the price of a brand new drone! It was only later that I discovered that the entire aircraft is now dead. This after testing everything at home before I sent it in...drone was still functional (minus the 2 motors of course), gimbal and camera still 100% funtioning.

I can only imagine they used my aircraft for donor parts for other damaged drones since I didn’t buy it from them and hence don’t have crash protection with them.

Drone World is horribly over-priced, and has been since they were founded.  I don't understand how they stay in business...

Their site has really pretty pictures though...

My experience with them and my spark was not good iether.
Had to send emails weekly for update without response.
Eventually went to their premises and was told it was too windy to test fly - not a breath of wind at all.

I would not recommend them to anyone for repairs.
On the other hand my purchase experience was very good.
