Hey everyone, I have Just put together this short video, using both stills and video testing the RoninS with the Lumix and Sony captured over the past couple of weeks, as we have had variable weather conditions. It is proving to be a great piece of kit very robust in all different weather conditions. For us the RoninS had to work for both video and stills and it has proved to be exceptional for both. Thanks.

Just one thing...for me too much rotating views, i am quitte sensitive for this. (make my tummy go funny) So i had to close my eyes sometimes watching.

Cool video with lots of awesome footage.
But I have to agree with JJBspark, that those rolling views wasn't pleasant - I got dizzy at each clip. It's a great feature, I get that, but it's very unnatural to the eye.

lol I get the twirly 360 thing, but used in context to a specific scene it will be an invaluable lead in or ending to a specific scene, more experimentation on speed to ease tummy turning lol (Try viewing it live on a field monitor whilst filming.....ohhhh Lordy it's an eye opener tummy turner)

All that said, I am super super super impressed with the Ronin-S as film making tool, the time-lapse, Motionlapse, track and 'other' functions of the ronin are absolutely awesome and like any other tool it is trial and error before you get what you want from it, go figure we are having tremendous fun and learning a few things putting the ronin-s through it's paces. Imagine taking shots from a distance, unobtrusive event usage, operated remotely for both stills and video. It's awesome.

Testing out the Ronin seems like a nice thing to do!

The rotating thing is very nice, but does need some specific type of video I think (not this one per se if you ask me)
Very cool to have this super stable platform!

Yes, this was just a tester at the moment, as  I am learning & improving it is always nice to get feedback from everyone.

I am working on a project at the moment that is a specific video, hopefully it all turns out well, but I am enjoying using the Ronin S and as you say it really is a stable platform and i love it.
