November 21/2018 ... Long awaited official firmware upgrade #.0300 for Inspire 2 arrived finally ... Almost simultaneously new .0000 FW for Matrice 200 series is available ... Since both platforms can be powered by identical pairs of TB50 batteries, one may assume that new firmwares will address infamous power management issue equally ... making these pairs swapable between Inspire and Matrice aircrafts ...

Guess what ... no, they're NOT swapable!!! Matrice 200 firmware is upgrading batteries to .77 version, while Inspire 2 firmware is downgrading them back to .71 version ... And vice versa.

Bravo, DJI!!! You amazed me again!

The Battery Station, which was updated 4 days later by DJI than Matrice 200 series, only updates to battery firmware v.71

When will M200 series operators and Battery Station users have an actual firmware release of .77 within the Battery Station?

This problem will require yet another set of firmwares to be released. As for today (Nov 21) we should use different battery pairs for both drones in order to avoid firmware mismatch warnings:

1. with .71 FW for Inspire 2 on .0300 FW.
2. with .77 FW for M200 series on .0000 FW.

.77 works on i2 without issue if you ignore the firmware mismatch - this is advice from the M200 / M210 Owners Facebook group moderator who is a DJI employee

Probably. Another reason for firmware mismatch warning may be due to camera FW, which I'm about to investigate ...
