Hello everyone,

I have the DJI Phantom 4 Pro v2.0 and the brand new iPad Pro 2018 12.9 inches. These 2 devices can't seemt to connect in the DJI GO 4 app. I specificaly bought the drone versione without the built in screen so I could use my iPad, but for now I can't do so. I guess it can be patched with un update, right ? And how much longer will it take in your opinion before they fix it ?

There is probably an update coming soon to make it compatible.  In the meantime, do you have a cell phone?

Hello and good day Danto.  Thank you for the inquiry about the iPad Pro 2018 12.9 inch version. Just to clarify, may I know what's the exact version of your iPad Pro? If you are referring to the newest iPad Pro for 2018? Actually, there is a  possibility that it will work, however, since it's not yet optimized with our application we cannot guaranteed the stability of the application if this will work all the time while using the specific device. We highly suggest you use the compatible device that was listed on the recommended mobile device list below to avoid any problem. As of the moment we still have no information on when will the additional recommended devices for the DJI Phantom 4 Pro v2 will be released by our DJI R&D Team. Thank you.

Yes I have the brand new iPad Pro from 2018 ( released just this month ) - model number: MTFN2TY/A
If there is a way to make it work, even in an unstable maner I would like to know please. In the meantime I do have a smartphone that does work so it's ok, I can fly my drone. It's just that I would prefer to use my iPad since I'm pretty blind and the phone is too small for me

I just got the new 12.9 ipad pro latest version 2018.  I've tested it with the Phantom 4 ProV2 and Mavic Zoom and it works great. No issues.  Nice piece on Hardware.

Hey, do you mind telling me please how you got it to work ? Whatsapp cable did you use ? Have you enabled anything in particular on the iPad ?

I used a cable from my Samsung SSD model T3.  Its USB C to USB.  Running latest DJO app.  Tested on Mavic Zoom and Mavic Pro.  I will see if I have some other USB C to USB cables to see if I just got luck with my SSD cable v

Just tried the USB C to USB that came with my canon 5DMK4 and it also works.

I have 3 different USB type C to USB and none of them work. Even though they work on any other device.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstalling the DJI app. I would give that a try.  It should work.

Hi after last fly safe data base update in my phantom 4 pro the status led go purple and in app say aircraft disconnet and in the section .... about in aircraft N/A if click check for updates nothing and in remote controller N/A too what can i do?
