Looked for this information and I cannot find it.
Will the camera on the mavic adjust to 90 degrees straight down and 90 degrees straight up?
We are intersted in video and photos tilted as far up as possible.

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. The gimbal controllable range of Mavic 2 Pro        is Tilt: -90–30° Pan: -75–75°

You can tilt it straight down to take shots from above a subject. You can not tilt it straight up (you'd be pointed at the aircraft) but it does tilt up a good distance and doesn't get the drone in the shot.

You can also turn the camera side to side not just up and down. You can go far enough to the left and right to get the front legs in the shot

You could stick a gopro on the top of a Mavic pointing upwards?

The only DJI drone that can serve that purpose is the Matrice 210 which has a top-mounted gimbal. DJI's consumer drones will at most tilt 30 degrees up.

Or the Anafi from Parrot.
