The MCC Multi Adaptor should've come in the box.

Just saying. Sony camera users can't even use all of the advertised features unless you buy this cable. The other cameras use cables that are included in the box. It's mildly infuriating that I need to purchase a $30-ish cable after dropping $750 in the first place.

Hi griffdude13, the Sony cameras can be controlled by the RSS-IR cable all the time, the new MCC-Multi cable was mainly released to add the Zoom control features to the Sony cameras to improve customer's experience, therefore, the MCC-Multi cable will need to be purchased separately. Appreciate your understanding.

Hey Mindy, quick q: I'm a few clicks away from buying the MCC-Multi cable for my Sony A7 III and Ronin-S but before I do I wanted to ask: Will the 'advanced' functionality allowed by the Ronin app, i.e., timelapses, panoramas, etc, be possible with the MCC-Multi cable in my setup (Sony A7 III with Sony FE 24-70mm f2.8 GM)? I can't find any definitive information on the topic.
