Had to give quick lesson on use of the Snow Blower to my Handiman ! I travel for 10 days early tomorrow ..... so need him to keep things clear.

Aloha Nigel,

     I was not going to mention the gimbal level in your last video!  My P3P also went through a stage of level issues and like yours, when you rotate one way the gimbal gets off-level and when you rotate the other way, the gimbal holds.  Strange.

     But, one of my Phantoms (cannot remember which) would not auto-calibrate the gimbal for some reason.  Finally, I looked at the manual adjustment and it had been set - or + .3 or something by an update and when I zeroed it out, the auto-calibration worked like a champ!  Patience is a requirement for this technology!

     Wow, ten minutes makes a lot of difference!  That is wild (glad I live here)!  The workshop is looking real nice, my compliments.  You may have to dig your way back home after your trip!

Last post before driving to airport ... its 5 am and -10C out there .... need to go out and start the car to warm up before I leave at 6 ...

Yep - that 10 mins was amazing ... it was literally 'White-Out' ..... I was transferring the P3P video and looked out the window ... visibility was about 100m ... and within ~30 mins - we had over 10cms on the ground.

You guys take care ... back shortly once I get into hotel !!

Nice progress!

Painting and cosmetics (Tudor wood strips) will be added in the spring ... main thing now is to complete interior so I can move all my extensive modelling hobby out of the second floor of my House. That then means I can complete the House renovations the Wife keeps bugging me about !
