Hi all,
I found a real light weight and small GPS tracker, only 23 grams.
When i have it attached to my MA i will post my results.

75 hours standby, real live tracking possible.
Many options like Geo fence and sms alert with Google Earth mapping.

Use it on my Spark, or in my Motorcycle, car....luggage...

My MA is flying great, did not have error since new. But in the not likely to happen case fly-away...
Think i will use it on my Spark more times.

Think DJI should have such a small device incorporated, users can choose to use it with a SIM card.
This one weighs 23 gram, so without casing and buttons...10 gram.

So DJI,; have a second thought about it!

Not yet, but will sure do.

It does have a live tracking, so i will compare it with the DJI positions during a flight.

So far I have never needed that.
But in this case : better safe than sorry I guess.

Dont want to lose it like i did with my old MA (you might remember the incident). I am confused between a) loc8tor lite b) rf-v16 c) tk-102 and now d) your suggested option.
Please post the pics/videos about this device and show us how and where you have fixed this device on the MA.
I am thinking  of loc8tor because its light and along with DJI's find my drone option, its very effective. i can use it anywhere in the world without worrying about international roaming plans and cell towers.
However, its little costly. Waiting for your feedback and experience on your new device.

Unpacking etc, now waiting for an gps holder for my MA.
First looks are OK,  in the gps-app i can ask where it is...yes, at my home   so within few meters accurate.

When i have flown my drones, will post the results.

Finally some dry weather to fly with my GPS tracker.

Pro

• only 23 gram
• small size
• your own simcard
• usb power to charge battery
• position accurate within few meters
• mobile device app to ask for position
• 3 modes, tracking possible (only 1 position / minute)
• it does work great!
  

Con

• Childish mobile device app (play store > SeTracker)
• App ask for all possible permissions, (but does fucntion with some denied)
• App startup with advertisement
  

I placed this tracker on top of my Spark (where else?), no effect on compass etc.
Ordered a special holder for my MA, see how that works.

Nope, no weird things happend in my test flight!

If i was 'afraid' for interference i was thinking of compass not Sparks`s GPS receiver.

Well i moved on to Loc8tor Lite.. As GPS devices needs international sims when we travel abroad and it also depends on cellular towers availability.
