Thanks. Yeah certain areas I couldn't fly for sure or never fly there. However, other areas, yes but at very low altitude and had my ears/eyes wide open. Not sure if you're familar with Ferry Point Park? I fly there at times which is also near the East River.

A lovely filmed and edited video DPOV but it reminded me of why I don't like crowded cities anymore

Lived in Sydney, London, Brisbane, Paris, Melbourne and a few other places but always the same old problems: Too many people crammed in

Give me the open spaces of the Aussie bush anyday, where I can fly my Mavic Pro with no complaints or WiFi interference and sometimes see the odd vehicle or two or even a kangaroo

Agreed; nothing better than flying in the bush or open field. Most of my flight time has been in the country but once in awhile nice to capture some city shots.

They fly mostly RC airplanes at that location but there are pockets to fly drones you just need to contact LGA's ATC.

I usually call them and provide location, altitude and amount of time I plan to fly. They're pretty cool about it.

Important to note: keep VLOS at all times. Keep eyes and ears wide open so that you have complete control of your AC.
