I just sync my flights and noticed the usa flag waving in the footprints in flightrecords. However i have never been to the states with my mp2.

I'm having the same issue.  I've never been to the USA with my drones.  Today an American flag showed up in footprints, along with the other 3 countries I *have* flown in.

Stupid question, but are you maybe using "fake gps", or something like it?

No not using fake-gps  or any other gps programme.Just normal via app in crystal sky . I flew yesterday and syncd the records, thats when i notice Trumps flag.never had this before

Got the same. 3 USA flags, never been there. So maybe a glitch. I did use fake gps though, once, so I was under the impression yesterday, that that could be the reason. Now, not so sure.
I got it after synchronizing my flight record on Saturday.

I've flown only in the USA, and until the update to DJI GO 4 4.3.8, my Flight Record correctly showed one American flag. After the update, my Flight Record now shows 3 American flags.

There's obviously some glitch introduced in 4.3.8 that's messing up those country "Footprints".

Edited to add that, after posting, I synced my Flight Record again, and lo and behold, I once again have just one USA flag. Maybe they've fixed the glitch at their end. Everybody resync their records and see if the Footprint thing is correct once again.

Probably the russians, lol

I believe the dji moderator passed it on to developers.
Btw for ios , there is a new update now. Maybe this solves it

Yessssss , the flag has fallen down. Its gone
After sync records (all)

....  the usa flag is back in the footprints
