I used to hand catch by lowering into your hand with the sensors on but if you slide your hand in close the sensors don't pick up your hand and you can just grab the Mavic

Cheers mate I was just showing how to hand catch with everything on safer than lowering into your hand as I prefer to hand catch most of the time

Quick question:  Do the motors stop when you have grabbed it (does it sense no motion?) or do you have to turn them off manually using the controller?  If using the controller is necessary, do you juggle, use your nose or what to stop them?

Just pull the throttle stick down for 3 secs and the motors will cut.

Looks easy.

I only use hand catch when the terrain is too bad to land on.
But most of the time, I take off from a road or something solid.
