Hi guys, just received my Osmo Pocket and noticed that in the Timelapse mode the minimum interval seconds is 3s, any reason why 1s is not in?

On the Pocket and Mimo I can set it to 2s on both Timelapse and Motionlapse. Have you updated the firmware?

That’s weird I only have 3s on both pocket and mimo, am running on the latest firmware. Any mods for clarification?

Hi Ezaq, thank you for bringing this query to us. Apologies for the troubles. I'd like to ask, what is the brand or make of your mobile device wherein you downloaded your DJI Mimo App? I will be providing the list of compatible devices below for your reference.

However, if your device is on the list, have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the app? Kindly let us know if the issue persists after reinstalling the app. Thank you.

Hi thanks for the reply, I’m using a iPhone XR, tried reinstalling the app but still shows only 3s as the minimum interval in timelapse mode.

Motionlapse? Can only find Timelapse...

Swipe right in the menu where you can choose Timelapse. There you can choose between Motionlapse and Timelapse.

Hi Ezaq

For time-lapse format, this is video and video+jpeg, which can be set in DJIMimo and swipdown

The current firmware minimal interval is 2s for video and 3s for video+jpeg

When I switched to timelapse mode and set the intervals + duration, both the app and Pocket only showed me 3s and no 2s in sight.

Is there a chance that we can get a shorter interval down the road? .5 seconds would be fantastic! Even a 1 second interval would make worlds of difference. I was attempting to do a timelapse of myself driving with the Osmo Pocket mounted in-car and 2 seconds is just too long for that fast of movement.

Cheers

DJI Gamora, And what prevented the developers to add Oneplus 6, you do not know...is he bad?) There is 5T, there is 6T, and mine is not. Therefore, only a 3-second interval is available in timelaps. Indeed, it is necessary to add 1 second, because the frame skipping is enormous.

When I am in time lapse mode filming traffic as I drive, when I go around a curve my gimbals turns as well and stays there. Am I supposed to be on slow or fast motion, and tilt locked? I just want it to looking straight ahead even when turning. I hope this makes sense

Mine is only showing 3 seconds as the smallest interval also. I hope they add smaller incriments like 1s, 0.5s, and 0.25s. It would be nice when shooting shorter events to be able to choose smaller intervals.

Add me to the 1 second club as well. And I would rather have the 4K single frames than the 1080p video if one has to go...

Yes, please add the option to go down to at least 1 sec interval. The timelapse/motionlapse feature was one of the main reasons I got the OP.

Same problem that I had when I tried to shoot a timelapse while driving as well. The OP was mounted i flashlight mode and the gimbal was tilt locked. Not sure if that had anything to do with it though, or if it will work better if set up differently.

You should use FPV mode in this case I think

Try FPV mode. It should work better for mounting like that

Try FPV ( First Person View ) mode....  you should get the result you are looking for

It's a bit confusing...

Go to time lapse mode then press right button
on bottom of screen... you see 3S... click it... if 2S is NOT there... continue below
swipe down on screen... then swipe right
change the setting by clicking the screen to show only one icon of film strip and not two
then go back to main screen... select 3S and 2S will be there.

Sorry I don't know the names of every icon... but this is how you change it

Please bear in mind "video only" setting that allows 2 second interval is 1080p only; whereas the saved individual frames in combo mode (which forces the minimum interval to 3 seconds) are 4K...

Thanks Spazz. I played with the Osmo Pocket a lot on my short vacation to Phoenix and figured out a lot of settings. I'm pretty sure that I had a couple of timelapse points added and that's why the "infinity" mode wasn't showing up. Makes sense when I thought about it. How could it move between points if it was set to run for an undetermined amount of time?  Thanks for the feedback though.

Thanks @Spazz for the instruction. However when I pressed right button (function button), OP changed to photo mode. Clicked on 3s (blue color) brought me to timelapse setting.

This should be done on Op or Mimo app?

Sorry I found already but I'm not gonna use it as it won't keep the jpg for me to create 4k timelapse. Will stick to my Hero 6  for timelapse.
Thanks anyway.
