So I'm not one that's going to just up and return the device - I think I'm still going to like it, but there are definitely places where it will not work for me where other things will. Looking forward to seeing how this matures, and would love to see upgrades from DJI. Assuming the original Osmo is Gen1 - I'm looking forward to the Gen3 device.

My current wishlist, I'm thinking would be this:

1. A place to set and lock a manual focus point INCLUDING in tracking mode.
2. Something better in the roll department.
3. Maybe a "lock roll optically to horizon" feature?
4. A gimbal roll adjustment option like I can do on my Phantom 4's camera...
5. A "smooth" and SLOWER recentering option in addition to what's available.
6. Not sure what can be done to smooth out the lighting changes
7. More manual settings for shutter speed and ISO.

I was in pro mode on the phone.

There is a lot of vibrating waves in some of the video.
Looks like it can't keep up with all the micro jitter in the plane.

Adding a few more videos today - this is from testing in my car. Made a home-made mount out of Sculptey Clay, LOL, and was using a cable to my phone.

I'm going to 3D print my own mount for the OP. Nice trip down I-30 there :-)

I plan on doing the same, but this was faster - and I did it for a concert, then managed to *GASP!* LEAVE the camera behind! NEVER again!  Despite it's painful limitations, I like the Pocket Osmo, I just hope the DJI team will work with us on the problems.

We should be airborne again tomorrow, is there anything any of y'all would like to see tried?
