First one, only with permission from the owner.
Second, nope, you can't.
Thirt, yup, why not?

I was sort of being a bit tongue in cheek! as for #3, I'd never fly anywhere near livestock as it can freak them out. I've heard a drone sounds like bees swarming to an animal (who knows what the result is of such a noise!)

All too often beauty is right on your doorstep and we take it for granted, and all too often dismiss what is around us as we see it daily and pay no great attention to what is there. Monty buddy Your little village is wonderful get out and film it and do it justice. I would love to see more.

There is no strict rule, but it is adviced to stay away 'a safe distance' from almost everything man made.
These guys took that rule a bit too lightly sometimes.

They stayed out of congested area's actually. The shots of the windmill were taken from over the water (IJssel)
Only the 50m rule is 'broken' (but that is still an advice to my best knowledge)
Livestock you can fly over. You don't need permission.
At least, I don't know any rule against that.

I think it is always best to approach animals very a lot of caution and watch their moves.
So far I have never had issues with cows however.
They don't seem to bother at all.
Not that I fly very low to them of course.

I saw them fly over the streets besidethe windmill ;)
And the livestock thing, for me comes under 'sensitivities'. I was flying this weekend and saw stables on the OS map during the preflight survey. When we checked on the day there were horses out in the fields between us and the stables, so we were careful not to go anywhere where the horses might hear the drone.
Over here the 50 rule is one of the set-in-stone basics. As is 30 and 150 for other things, and then 400ft and 500 meters. It's a mine field!

PLUS:
I was being a little facetious I admit. Sorry.

Yeah, that will have been difficult to explain if you find a police officer who is after drones
I know a local officer very well and he told me 2 guys were fined the other day, but they were flying way more to the right here and annoyed some people when they flew over their gardens and refused to go away after being asked.

I personally would not have flown over land here. Although they did stay away from most of the buildings on the right.

I totally agree upon flying by the rules, although I sometimes break them for a very short moment.
Sometimes I cross a road to get to some point for example. But. I always fly very close to where I'm standing, so I'm visible for everybody who has questions and I stay away from congested area's, gardens etc.

Nice find and post but is it one of those recordings a person has to wait several days/weeks before they can post them? of is that from a different country?

I am sure we all do that sometimes, especially when you know there's a great shot to be had!  But there's a very big difference between edging up to the limits of a rule and not knowing there is a rule!

This is why this forums like this are so good. People learn what is acceptable drone behaviour and what isn't and the more that trickles down, the less likely it is that legislation will come in to force us into the realms of the lowest common denominator.

I was watching a video about the Inspire2 and the flier was approached by building security saying they couldn't fly there (they could, they were in limits) because someone had recently hit the building with a drone and broke a window. But that's like saying 'Yeah, sorry, you can't drive your car on that freeway because someone had an accident and caused some damage'. It just doesn't add up.  Still: as they say, 'Give a man a hat..."
