I want to use a Ronin-S and Universal Mount via plug-in AC power.

DJI does not seem to offer an AC adapter for the Universal Mount.  I see many D-TAP AC adapters for sale online, but can't tell if any would work with the Universal Mount.

Is there a recommended AC adapter?

any dtap power source should work - it´s meant to be (about) 14,8V

I'm hoping for DJI to give me something more than "should work".

The only information in the user guide (https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/ ... unt_User_Guide.pdf) is "INPUT 13 - 17 V/5 - 10 A".

This $50 adapter (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/p ... wertap_charger.html) promises "1.5A", so probably won't work.

This $60 adapter (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/p ... ry_charger_for.html) promises "16.8 V, 2.5 A", so probably won't work.

So where is the adapter that will work?

I happen to own an Inspire 2, so I have plenty of TB50 batteries.  But I'll be damned if I will pay $300 for an adapter (https://store.dji.com/product/ronin-2-battery-mount).

I think its quite expensive getting the mount (169 €), the power adapter (319 €) and batteries (at least 2) (2x199 €) sums up to € 886 ... how much is the ronin s?

Ive already repacked the mount and sending it back.

why don't you supply a power adapter for the ronin s battery?

I like what this guy did, but I'm not fond of doing it myself.
Can't be too difficult for DJI though

Should be able to use the 'hand grip' battery with the mount IMO, detached, via an affordable interface cable. That would be my preferred option if anyone's listening, yet I haven't bought it yet
