Same issue here. This seems to be an Apple limitation for mobile devices. At 4k maximum framerate is 30 fps.
Same issue with 1080 4x slo motion video. Seems odd because the iPad Pro 11 inch can film video with 120 fps?

Are you able to post a small clip (actual file on dropbox or something) of a working and non-working 4k60p video? If we can get both then we might be able to see what it is thats making it not work. I have a feeling with a tweak to some codec profiles that DJI could get this to work on Apple devices. They have said its something to do with Apple not allowing the higher bit rates of the 60p.

Dear,

Sorry, but using a microSD USBC card reader is not an issue... Same problem ! 4K video are not recognised on my Ipad PRO 12,9 New 2018 model ! I use lumafusion to create my video content and it is not possible now with  4K videos from the osmo Pocket ! looks to be a codec problem !

Correction , Only 4K60 can not  be imported to camera Roll with the USBC MicroSD card reader.  4K30 are ok . sorry for confusion. hope it will be fix very soon.

This isn’t technically an Apple problem, neither is it a DJI problem. iOS only supports HEVC files at a certain frame rate.

DJI needs to adopt a this HEVC codec within their files So iOS devices can read them.

My GoPro Hero 7 uses HEVC and I have no problem importing any files from 1080/30 - 1080/240 up to 4K/60 into the camera roll

If DJI would support HEVC/h265 it should work. Same with I think slo-mo video. This is something for the firmware update.

Jesus............ this is a huge problem for me, as I intended to edit 4K60P footage on my iOS device....

DJI please work on the firmware to support H265... or you are asking me to switch to Go Hero...........

@DJI Susan, any news regarding H.265 HEVC codec support so newer iOS files can import the videos either from MIMO or from the SD card reader?

Another vote for DJI to add the codecs so we can use iOS for all the files not limited to 30p etc

See this thread.

You need Lumafusion and a compatible wireless hard drive or hub

There is a way to import 4K60P video to LumaFusion with a 3rd party OTG dongle. That is how I import 4K60P to my iPad LumaFusion directly without passthrough photos app.
However it will soon be resolved as new iPadOS13 will provide new file system this fall that allow file import from the SD card or camera at its native folder structure.

I really hope iOS13 can fix this.

A lot of reviews already tested it works on the iPadOS13 beta.
So it is just a matter of time.

I’m on iOS 12.4 on a 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 (latest version) and, as of the last Mimo update, I’m able to import 4K60 footage from my Pocket and Action cameras just like a normal 1080p file using either the official USB-C to USB adapter and Anker SD card reader or the official USB-C SD card reader. The files do transfer at 4K60 as I’m able to view the metadata in LumaFusion. If you use the Mimo app to transfer 4K60 content to your iPad/iPhone, it’ll transfer a 1080p file. You have to use adapters to get the full 4K60 file to transfer. This also works on my iPhone XS Max running iOS 12.4.
