I just purchased a Mavic 2 Zoom to join the Spark I already own and I see there is a version of "DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic"
Does this mean I need to run a different version of DJI Assistant 2 for my Spark? ie. two versions loaded on my computer.

Yes, you will need to install both versions of the DJI Assistant 2 app.
