Bad news for us drone owners. Gatwick Airport has been closed most of the night due to sightings of a drone(s)  by airport staff. It is being reported that this seems to be done deliberately in order to close the airport.

Almost inevitably this will result in a call for even more restrictions on our hobby. Oh well it was nice while it lasted, anyone want to buy a drone!

I do read mixed stories about the origin of this drone.
Looks like some sort of 'attack' on the airport.
