I have done some digging and cannot find an answer that fixes the problem.I  have done a few flights and decided to download my flight logs, of the individual logs, my max elevation was 394ft, but when I look at the overview screen it says 645ft.  Distance matches and I guess the speed is right.

Is there a way to correct this, or do I just live with it.

You might be right.... I even got MINUS Altitude readings last time I was flying and also on other occasions... In metric... when I was flying at about 20 meters the Altitude shown on my iPad (2017, iOS 12.1.2 - DJI GO 4 v. 4.3.9) read 4 meters... and when I landed -6,5 or something like that... strange but true.
I do know that a large part of the Netherlands is below sea-level, but not where I usually fly
