Hi
I shot some test footage today  and I'm looking forward to the feedback from those more knowledgeable than I.  I'm leaving for the Bahamas soon and plan to shoot some video of the Atlantis resort for my site.  This test footage is to  dial in the settings for the Bahamas shoot.  I shot this in 24 fps 100 iso and1/60 at 5.6 fstop.  Does this look  a little soft?  Any tips for a cinematic look?

Hi jharpphoto45, this looks Great! Good Job!

Looks like some focus issues at the begining.  The video appears to be shot with the sun overhead and that is a tough time of day.  It also appears that the ev level is too high.  Did you try playing with the adjustment wheel?

Far too overexposed - ND filter ??  but the focus looks ok.

You have the ideal settings for cinematic footage - which tends to look softer than compressed sharpness

thanks for the feedback.  I realize the EV was too hot, I was trying to keep the f-stop around F5.6.  I had an ND 8 on the lens, prob should have gone with the ND 16

It does not look too soft to me.  Over exposed yes.
