Seems the new one I purchased from Best Buy today just starts up and never gets to the registration/activation screen on the phone. Goes straight into the app and everything appears to work. Does not even ask for a firmware update.
Did I get a unit that someone had activated and returned? How do you tell? If it was a Phantom or Mavic I know this would be the case.

Forgot to mention in my first post that it only took 25 minutes to charge the battery and I was only using 1 amp.

I have re boxed it and plan to return it after Christmas if it has already been activated.

Had no problems exchanging it at Best Buy. After seeing the original packaging I know for sure it was a return. Activation and update worked absolutely flawless. I even found out I could use a USB-C to Lightning cable and hook from the bottom of the OSMO Pocket to my iPhone and it works.
