Question: Do anybody think the picture would be nicer/better by using ND-filters??

Nice picture MRdark and yes I believe that by using a ND-filter most of the sun glare would have been gone. Thanks for sharing

Nice capture.
I disagree on the ND filter.
They probably won't help you much in this situation.
You need to make an AEB capture and merge the stack of photo's in post to overcome the high dynamic range you are facing here. (make it AEB 5, if you have that in the 'Air')

ND filters are ONLY reducing the overall light that hits the sensor.
So every part of the frame will be equally darker and your sky will still be blown out. .
You do have 'graduate ND' filters, that have a dark upper part and a 'normal' lower part. So that will help to some extent.

In general, ND filters are mainly used for video, to keep your shutterspeed low for a little bit of motion blur.

Also : Glares will probably be INCREASED because of the extra layer of glass that is even more exposed to the sunlight (as it sticks out more).
Only the very expensive ones with coating might have the same glare - risk, but still because of the extra reflective surfaces (also on the back of the ND filter) you might even get MORE glare with an ND filter.
If you don't want glare, you need to fly with a sunhood and make sure you have the right angle against the sun. (trial and error)
I have both ND filters and a sun hood, but only use the first one for video. Not for photography.

I'm sorry for the confusion, there is a lot of misconceptions about ND filters.....
