PS, I have flown in mild rain without issues. with my MP.
Not that I would recommend it,  but it was the last day of our holiday and I really had to catch a train that I have been filming many times since 1995 now.
And knowing it would be the last time for at least several years we would be in that place, I had to take the gamble.
Luckily all went ok.
But normally I would not fly in the rain.

The problem with the mavic is they have a cooling fan that is constantly sucking air in to cool the electronics. So it's possible to suck water into the bird itself.

Yeah.  I don't get the desire to do this kind of stuff.  It's as ill-advised as range tests.

I'm glad other people risk their drones for it though.  It lets me know what I can expect if the unexpected happens.
