I have been using the Occusync system + Goggles RE around the neighborhood - love it, great picture.  I will be flying in an FPV event in a couple weeks and I know there will be assigned channels on the 5.8 Ghz frequency.  Newb question : do I have to worry about restricting the goggles to a single channel (sub-frequency), or will they navigate around all the channels?  Is it possible to restrict them to a single channel?  If so, how would I do that?

Thank you in adavance,
John

You can select the chanel manually from digital FPV racing menu -> wireless settings -> auto / manual. Even in the 'auto' mode there isn't any advanced chanel jumping technology available. The goggles will just pick one free chanel when you will power up the air unit and stays there for the rest of the flight. In the manual mode you can select any chanel you like even if it is occupied.

Frequencies aren't shown in the chanel map but you may copy and paste them from the following list:

5.8 GHz DIGITAL VIDEO CHANELS:
CHANEL 1 5731,5 MHz
CHANEL 2 5741,5 MHz
CHANEL 3 5751,5 MHz
CHANEL 4 5761,5 MHz
CHANEL 5 5771,5 MHz
CHANEL 6 5781,5 MHz
CHANEL 7 5791,5 MHz
CHANEL 8 5801,5 MHz
CHANEL 9 5811,5 MHz
CHANEL 10 5821,5 MHz
CHANEL 11 5831,5 MHz
CHANEL 12 5841,5 MHz

2.4GHz DIGITAL VIDEO CHANELS:
CHANEL 1 2407,5 MHz
CHANEL 2 2417,5 MHz
CHANEL 3 2427,5 MHz
CHANEL 4 2437,5 MHz
CHANEL 5 2447,5 MHz
