Will the Mavic pro work with the Mavic 2 pro controller?
If so, what software versions are required for this combination?

what he said! So far you can only use each aircraft controller to control the aircraft it was designed for.

Would be Nice but no.

Slightly off topic but when the Mavic Air was released that did state the Mac Pro controller would get future support to work with the Air. Assume that’s been canned now has it DJI?

I believe they made the same claim for the Mavic 2 and Mavic Pro back when the M2 was first announced. I'll believe it when I see it.

Nah, they are build for specific drone

Early on  DJI said they would have it available later. I would imagine after they looked into, there were  numerous  problems.  I really l enjoy my my Mavic pro, and have no plans to buy the MP2.  I have several other drones from Hubsan, Autel, and DJI.
