I've never had a failure but i prefer to use the windows app(s).

Or unless your new to drones. Which I noticed since Christmas there are quite a few, I have only ever used go4 to update and in 5 years not one single problem updating, but some for various reasons have.

I don't like wasting my batts before flight is why i don't use Go 4 but ya for newbies
