I've recently crashed my Inspire 2. It's fully user error -- I didn't lock one prop fully and it came off. The aircraft seems fine aside from a damaged FPV camera.
I do have DJI Care Refresh, but replacing the FPV camera doesn't appear difficult at all. I'm considering saving myself the hassle, time and cost of shipping it off and waiting for repair under the Refresh program and just replacing the FPV camera myself.

If I replace the FPV camera myself, will that impact my Refresh service at all? I don't know why it would, but I would hate to make this small repair and somehow invalidate the Refresh service.

Is there any other reason I'm not thinking of why I should use Refresh instead?

Hi there, thank you for reaching out and we're sorry to hear what happen to your Aircraft. With regards to your question, we would recommend to send it into the facility than repairing it by your self for the reason when you are the who fix it that is the time that your manufacturer warranty and DJI Care Refresh will be voided.
