Hey guys, been thinking lately of changing my Mavic Pro for the Mavic Air since it's got 100mbit video which gives a sharper and clearer picture. The down sides: flight lenght (which can be fixed easily with more batteries), but what concerns me most is the video transmission to the remote (connectivity). So... is it good ? do you loose signal sometimes ? how far do you fly without obstables between your and the aircraft, also how far do you fly with obstacles (tree's or building) thanks ! if you guys think of any other downside let me know ! thanks so much !

In my opinion WiFi has nothing on ocusync, especially in FCC or boosted.
I don’t have the air but I have the spark, which is also WiFi.
And I tell you that the spark in CE mode is just plain dangerous to fly,
But in FCC I got my spark to 3321 meters one way the most, still the quality is much worse, constant drops in the signal quality,
Whereas on my mavic pro, 6km away and perfect signal, no hiccups, nothing. Just amazing

I'm with Alex, I had the MP/MPP and now the M2pro and also the Mavic air and ocusync is totally awesome and wifi sucks.

And the other huge downside is that the mavic air is VERY NOISY.

As we have both the air and pro my personal findings are both are exceptional aircraft it has to be said. The air as far as I am concerned needs to be flown in vlos at all times for confidence, whereas the pro is rock solid and can be flown to much greater distances without issues.

Which do I prefer, well I use the Pro as my go to drone and still prefer the image output to that of the air.
