Can anyone recommend a backpack for the Mavic 2 Zoom for taking on runs? Want to be able to run mountain trails with the drone. Thanks in advance.

Some folks seem to like the Lowe pack.  But they might be a bit large/heavy for RUNNING.

Hi I am wondering if anybody has experience with running with a drone on a backpack and if there's any risk by doing so with all the jumps and bumps that there drone will get.

Thanks

only if the batteries aren't packed properly e.g. they get bashed

I'm an MA owner and as such there's plenty of cases it can go in which then fits into any bag that I'd like to run with. for example I can get the drone, controller and spare batteries into this

https://www.lowepro.com/uk-en/viewpoint-cs-80-lp36913-pww/

This then goes into a backpack (sometimes inside a waterproof bag depending on the activity).

Personally I'd be looking for a running back that can take the M2Z and not the otherway round e.g. If I'm running or trekking I want a bag that's hydration sleeve compatible and ideally waterproof or has a well fitting cover.

I've used the hagalofs tight XL for skiing and trekking and an old karimore for running and trekking, if you want a specific bag then the flip-side range is very good but lacks the hydration compatibility (does have side pockets that will easily take a litre bottle each.

Good luck with your search

I purchased http://alturl.com/aqcux it has fixed pockets for the equipment and is comfortable. I added a Goggles RE case that matches the pack and clips on to the two top tie downs on the pack. The pack carries my 10.1" tablet, GoPro, Tripod, water.

I’m not a massive fan of backbacks for running, cycling (or even snowboarding for that matter). Do your own research on https://trigearlab.com/ . I think it depends a little on how much you’re planning on carrying. I felt belt-packs / bum-bags fine with a light load, but less good once you start carrying water and a bit more spare clothing, which also depends on conditions and where you’re running.
