This image was taken in some windy conditions, gusts of around 38 kmh. I had to take several to get the drone perfectly still.
Taken at Cintsa West, Eastern Cape, South Africa. People often fish from the rocks around here, and there is a small blue dot of a fisherman standing at the bottom.
ISO 100
f8
1/6th of a sec
Around 55 to 60 meters up, if I remember correctly. Above that, the wind were dangerous.
(That said, I did play with the little Mavic Air, and without sounding biased, it handeled as well as the MPro 2, stable, and only moved a bit with heavy gusts)

Love that area. I bought a beach cottage close to there, at Glen Navar. One of my favourite photography spots. (and surf and rock fishing, of cause)

Yeah, I heard it’s back to the same old same old.

On a good note, SA has apparently beaten NZ for being a more Instagrammed country. NZ was ranked 42nd in the world and SA was ranked 5th. So yeah, SA is beautiful but that’s sadly where it ends.
