I'm not a videographer, but I'd like my aerial videos to be nice, I think my M2P deserves it.
I really like DJI Go Video editor, but it means I have to jump through the hoops to import HD content, as I do most my post work on my Windows PC, and DJI Editor is on iOS.
Also, DJI Go Editor falls short when it comes to such embellishments as captions and even the most basic special effects like fading.
So, basically something similar but a little bit more powerful.
On Windows (W10 x64) (OK, iOS would do too)
And free, or dirt cheap
But NOT super complex, like Adobe After Effects.

If you want nice and free together, try DaVinci Resolve 15. It's free but there's a pretty good learing curve that goes with it. There is also a paid version for 300 USD that has some more bells and whistles. Good luck.

Thank you. Yeah, I know of it, but it's too much. I'm not trying to go into Hollywood production, just make easy nice looking drone vids.

I like the iMovie the best so far.

I like iMovie as well, even though I don't know it well enough, but that one I think I can manage, it's an Apple software, so it should work for dummies like myself. The hurdle is to get the original HD material onto iPad, cause, as I said, my content is downloaded onto Windows 10 desktop, and there is no easy connection between Windows and iOS, so I have to use an intermediary like a dropbox, etc.

I have messed with a few.
Videopad is fairly simple and about 30 to 50 dollars. You can use it for free for home use.
Filmora again fairly simple. I liked this one. Its $40 a year or $60 for one time purchase. I haven't purchased it and it leaves a watermark on the trial version.

I need to check that Videopad, never heard of it.
I tried Filmora. Felt unintuitive and complicated.
I looked and DR and was "shocked and awed" by its complexity.
I really need something simpler. DJI Editor and iMovie would be awesome if only they worked on Windows 10.

I have always hated how Apple locks down and tells us how we can use the devices we paid for.
This is what I use to directly transfer vids and pics between Windows and my iPad.

Cool! Didn't know such thing existed.
Yet, of course, Apple keeps screwing us by switching their latest iPad (which I have) to USB-C... ;)
