How many pilots take there props off when storing there drone? Is it good practice to do so?
If taken off,do you use the motor caps also?

I have never taken my props off.  Still on from the factory for over a year.  I had a bandage on my thumb from a cut and couldn't grip the motor when I first got the Spark so,...just left them on during calibration.  

Never roll your rear motorcycle wheel forward to look at a nick in the rim, while your thumb is wiping lube off the chain and sprocket.  

I leave 'em on!

Leave the props ON, just the off and on will cause more wear than necessary.

I store with props ON

With the Spark you can leave them on without problem.

I saw a post where DJI recommended replacing the props annually.
I leave mine on.

The only time I ever took a prop off was once when I broke one.

Think then it's a unanimous decision that everyone leaves them on. Thanks for your input guys

i don't remove my props when i store my Spark but i do check them when take off for the first flight .

Agree with others about leaving them on.  Especially if you store it in a case designed to have room for the props.   I could maybe see taking them off if you had to travel with it in a different case but normally I keep them on always.

I generally remove the props when calibrating Spark or connecting to DJI Assistant & using the simulator. I think the manual for Spark suggests when to remove the props.
Otherwise, I leave the props on.
There are two small tabs at the base of the props that secure them to the motor. I figure if I leave the props installed, there is less chance of damage to them & they wont suddenly fall off during flight.
Before each flight, I gently check that each prop is secure.

I have left mine on since the day I got the aircraft. They get inspected after each flight though to make sure they are safe to use again.

I take mine off after flight, due to the fact i use the dji portable charging station which is annoying that the bag thats for sale only lets you store the charging station, spark, batteries, and controller. It's not built to accommodate the props... not great advertisement for promoting safety...

For sure,,, just leave the Props on,, less wear and reduce possible damage by removing and installing each time...

i have the official mobile charger and spark nests perfectly there with props ON

I leave them on as it came from the factory.
We never remove the helo props when we store them.
