Phantom 4 falls out of the sky

We had a new Phantom 4 fall out of the sky today. We were flying in a restricted airspace for the DOT. We had our token and everything was good. Was flying fine, then a loss of link. Then fell 400 ft into the median of a freeway. We were extremely lucky that it missed traffic, etc. This is not the first time we have had issues trying to fly after going through the process of getting waivers and tokens. This is a huge problem for all public safety entities that routinely have to fly near airports. DJI there has got to be a better safer way to do this...

Restricted airspace isn't the reason for it falling out of the sky. DJI drones are programmed to land when entering restricted airspace.  Follow the directions and upload your flight log and come back and post the link and someone will most likely figure out why it happened.   https://www.phantomhelp.com/LogViewer/Upload/

Indeed, this is a first. Working on getting the logs now. Its in pretty bad shape...
