Where to calibrate the compass? In a big field? And what about the imu in a big field also? Or can i do it in my house?

Room? Like u know my computer and etc? Or it doesn't matter for the imu?

Hi Charbel, thanks for reaching out. You can calibrate the compass and the IMU in an open wide area with no interference. As for the IMU calibration, make sure you cool off the aircraft before calibrating, put it on a flat surface, don’t move it during calibration, and ensure it has at least 50% battery before calibration. Yes but can i calibrate the imu in my
House? And if so what about the other magnetic things like my
Computer and other stuff that can intefere with the drone or that doesnt matter with the IMu?

Magnetic metal objects do not negatively affect the IMU calibration.

yes you can calibrate in yr house.
If there is some interference then the app will tell you so and then you should just try to move a bit further away from indoor metal items.
Remember that concrete floors have steel inside so better ontop of a wooden table vs on the floor

Take the props off - they shouldn't move but tend to twitch when the aircraft powers on and IMU calibration is done with it folded up

It's perfectly safe to calibrate the IMU on a metal surface.

Perhaps you're thinking of calibrating the compass?

Calibrate the IMU at home but do not calibrate the compass there - do the compass when you get to your flight location (if the app advises)

Thanks for your prompt response. Metal objects has no impact on the IMU calibration so it's actually better to perfom the IMU calibration indoors where you have more control over getting a perfectly level surface on a table . I hope this will help. Thanks for your support.

IMU requires a VERY LEVEL surface for calibration.  Home is fine.  Compass requires a complete lack of ferrous metals to not interfere with magnetic compass calibration.  Neither of these calibrations should be done unless the program tells you to or you detect  a problem.
