Thanks, Hallmark! This video was a way to say “thank you” to Shawn over at SpectrumGrades for the advice he has extended to me in many occasions. Because of that, I really tried to make the color on this one look unique and beautiful.
It wasn’t terribly cold on the day I shot this film with a temperature around 32F//0C at 4pm Because of the temperature and the warm sunshine, snow that had been on the trees began to melt, then refroze becoming ice. When I saw the ice glistening in the sun, I dropped everything I was doing, grabbed my drone and other gear, and went to shoot.
