My friend told me that his RC start to charge automatically his android device once connected, but when i plug my iPhone I don't get juice from the controller, is it normal?

Yes, only the Android devices are being charged automatically, Ios devices are not charged like that.

On iOS, you can turn the charging on / off in DJI Go App.

where? i dont thing thats an option for mavic air.  i have an iPhone X and cannot find this option anywhere.

I don't have iOS so I don't know where exactly. Should be somewhere though.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. With regards to your concern it just normal for the Android phone to charge because it needs on-going 500ma to maintain the USB connection, so there is no option for the Android device to disable the Charging mode. And it just normal for the IOS device is not charging.

You can’t change on IOS to charge or not to charge
It’s just NOT charging and that’s it.
