Canadian enginuity comes through once again.  World drone regs seem to have machines weighing less than 250 gm exempt from regulations, like in Canada.  Here is a link to someone who has shaved 51 grams off his Spark.  (I posted a request a long time ago suggesting DJI make a lightweight bat for the Spark even though it shortens flight time)

It’s not worth it I think.
Plus who in the hell is going to weight your drone?
They will see it’s a Spark and they see how much it weights and that’s that.
I think they will calculate the Sparks official weight.

Incredible, I didn't know about those small drones. How much does your micro drone weight?

I like the 3 blade props , they should give more lift by the looks

My micro drone weights 40 grams with the battery.  Has a low res video camera and 5.8GHz video transmitter.  Use my DJI Goggles RE for FPV.  There is a big group flying these.  They even have indoor FPV races with four drones at once.

Yes I think so.  More lift also means lower RPM in hover and thus less noise.

Yep,  but you can beat them with that!
in case you use a drone for/with payload, it is always the starting weight, not the weight the manufacturer says it had, leaving the factory!
So they will have to use a scale, in case a pilot says it is just 249g

But just 6 minutes?
ok, for Roma, perhaps, Vienna, .....

Oh I don't think the guy in the video will ever request a warranty claim.  Maybe DJI could produce a 249 gram drone for us to purchase.
