Yes I updated mine using Assistant 2 and it worked no problem at all. Took about 20 mins.

I'm still using currant firmware, before I update can someone tell have they tested all to 100.350 firmware that all is good mainly does it have waypoints?

I just received my Smart Controller today (31 Jan. 2019) and tried to update through Assistant 2. It shows the very old 01.00.0310  as "current version" and does not even show 350 as an upload option. Anyone know how to remedy this??

Hi,

Yes it includes ver .12 of the App so Waypoints included. SD Card now working correctly in v 360 of the firmware, they have fixed the disappearing problem.

The use of a SD card to expand internal system memory has been disabled in this release. To return later.

Just got my controller today....updated the firmware on my Mavic 2 with the assistant 2.....Then updated the firmware on my smart controller over WiFi which worked fine..Took about 20 minutes to complete....
