Took the Mavic Pro up this morning to see the winter wonderland (disappointing - snow isn't very thick) but noticed that it wasn't holding perfectly still in the hover. The first portion of the video is at about 200 feet and the second part is higher, closer to 400 (but not above!). It's a very gentle but noticeable rotation. Compass was calibrated immediately before the flight and I wasn't touching the controls. No wind warning and props are new, genuine DJI 8330F.

Should I recalibrate the IMU again or am I expecting too much?

How cold was it at ground level and how cold was the bird before takeoff?  There was some discussion about temperature on this post:  https://forum.dji.com/thread-67107-1-1.html

Not sure if this is any of the problem or not.

Was probably about freezing. Drone had been inside in a warm room before I took it out.

Yes, multiple times. IMU status is always in the green

No, I haven't. I'll try and find the logs. Can't remember exactly which flight it was.

Only had one log from yesterday morning but not obvious where I was. I'll do another flight and see if the same thing happens

Mine usually drifts a little.
But not too much actually.
And I don't want to hover for too long anyway (don't like stationary shots)

Perhaps I am worrying about nothing. It can't really stay aloft long enough to do a decent timelapse, I suppose

This is some leftover inertia that drone stabilizing systems are not detecting and correcting. But it makes great panning as it's slow and basically artifacts free even at high shutter speeds.

"Should I recalibrate the IMU again or am I expecting too much?"

That maybe just about sums it up, at the end of the day it's a consumer product. If the IMU has been done on a dead level surface then all should be as good as it can be. In saying that it's usually the compass that gives it its orientation. One good calibration on that should see it good until you are prompted by the DJI Go 4 Application, or some erratic flight needs investigating.

I've noticed some rotation at times, and if I provide a bit of 'yaw' in opposite direction for a short while (just enough to stabilise it), I've seen it hold position thereafter.

I would check the following:
How many satellites are you connected to ?
How good is your connection ? on RC or on Wifi ?
Let the Drone heat and hover for a while get it down and then fly back up and check ?
Did it register the home point ?
Due you have any metal interference nearby ? A pole or some EMI interference ?Check your settings hopefully no one messed it up. Yaw, gain and all those...
Reflash the drone using PC software DJI assistant 2.
