Just received my Zoom and am having problems calibrating the vision sensors. I have downloaded DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic 2.0.6 (deleted and reinstalled several times), and after going through the calibration process, my screen stays stuck at 0% of the calculation. Prior to this screen, and once I get to the step to calibrate the side sensors, it appears there might be a software bug, as the screen appears as shown in the photo (no gif demonstating how to rotate the drone).  I am using a 13" MacBook Pro and have tried calibrating on several resolution settings, but nothing has helped. I had no issues calibrating the Air a few months ago. Any asssistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I can't help you with that problem but why do you try to calibrate the vision sensors in the first place? You don't have to, even when the drone is new. You only have to calibrate them, when the app says so.

Hi Bevo4you, sorry for all the trouble. Please uninstall DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic and re download the software using this link: https://www.dji.com/uk/mavic-2/info#downloads and reinstall it to your computer. We advise to use a 14" monitor to calibrate the vision system. Set the display’s resolution to the recommended default value. (Usually, the 14-inch display’s resolution should be set at 1366*768 or 1440*900. The 17-inch display’s resolution: 1366*768 or 1280*720. The 19-inch display’s resolution: 1366*768 or 1440*900. The 22-inch display’s resolution: 1680*1050 or 1920*1080. The 24-inch display’s resolution: 1920*1080 or 1920*1200.) After that please retry to calibrate the vision system again. You may follow the video tutorial below on how to properly calibrate the VPS.  If the issue persist, please let me know. Thanks!

Thank you for your solutions. I discovered that simply by downloading and installing Assistant 2 for Mavic, it does not replace the Assistant 2 for Air in a Mac's Launchpad, or at least not in mine. I now keep a desktop folder with both. You would think a company capable of developing such sophisticated hardware would be able to develop one software program for all of its devices.

I have the same problem.  At the end of the calibration when the display error message appears and asks me to enter my screen resolution, I enter 1920 x 1080 (24 in screen) and then click to restart the calibration.  The calibration screen reappears but now the sensors don't activate and nothing appears in any of the boxes.I have reinstalled the software 4 times and tried this calibration procedure 4 times as well.  All with the same results.

Hi. Thank you for your insights. With regards to the previous post. I do apologize for the information. What I was trying provide was a recommended resolution for different size of monitor. Again, I am sorry for the trouble and thank you for your understanding.

I'm seriously surprised at how bad this software is.  I tried on my iMac 27" and then on my MacBook Pro, go the motion error on the iMac and on the MacBook I can't finish the calibration because when I get to bottom camera, the app has a glitch and the images on the actual DJI app are broken.  It won't work...  This is crazy for a piece of equipment this expensive.

I've reinstalled the app and tried 4 times.  I have a video shoot at a tractor dealership tomorrow and I'm so surprised at this.  We shouldn't have to hack our monitors to get the software to work.

Hello, I cannot start the calibration. I use a macbook 13" with an external screen of 24", and I cannot click on the button to start the calibration. Any solution? it is stuck at the beginning, there is an icon "thinking" and I cannot push the button.

Thank you.
