In regards to the Anti-flicker option, can someone please explain in which situation would I use 50 mhz vs 60 mhz?   THanks

In Europe 50htz in US 60htz think of half the normal frame rate in Europe 25fps in US 30fps are the standard for TV.

60hz, but new led technology will operate at a different frequency.
In short your household voltage in basic terms goes on and off at 60hz  (60 times per second) if you match the speed you cancel out the flickering

Anti-flicker, even set at the proper frequency for the region. May not work all the time. Especially on LED or Fluorescent lights. This video was shot on my LA to Hong Kong American airline 777-300 with anti-flicker set at 60hz.

It will also happen randomly, The video below was taken in Japan (another country at 60hz) and some signs will cause flicker while others don't.


And the cabin light does not flicker on the Embraer 175 from SJC to LAX
